Doctor Daniel Jackson, PhD, was an alternate version of Daniel Jackson taking place because of the timeline shift generated by Ba'al.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In the alternate timeline created by Ba'al, this version of Daniel Jackson lived in Egypt, trying to find some proofs about aliens visiting Earth. He thought (as the main timeline's Jackson) that the pyramids were landing paths for spaceships. He has been discredited by all his pairs, and is living on the fringes of society. He has written a book, The Truth About the Pyramids (Stargate: Continuum).

Character's evolution[edit | edit source]

Stargate: Continuum (2009, alternate timeline)[edit | edit source]

In a bookstore, Daniel Jackson finds two books intitled The Truth About the Pyramids, written by his alternate self. The books have a 70% sale discount. Jackson takes one, opens it, starts to read, and smiles, then looks at the back cover and sees his alternate self's picture, posing weirdly. He quickly buys the book.

Later, in his room, Jackson calls his alternate self and tries to comfort and encourage him. He doesn't introduce himself, yet he tells him that all the things he told about the pyramids, the glyphs, the aliens and everything are true. He says he believes in his work and he should have more faith in what he's doing. Yet, the alternate Jackson hangs up on Jackson.
