Story[edit | edit source]
[edit | edit source]
- One Abydos year after the attack of Stargate Command by Apophis (SG1: "Children of the Gods"), a MALP is recording the other side of the Stargate. On the screen is Kasuf, looking at the camera's lens curiously, then touching it. Daniel Jackson tells SG-1 and General George Hammond that he has to return to Abydos and tell the truth about Sha're to his father-in-law because he made a promise and the Abydonians may bury the Stargate indefinitely if he doesn't come back in time. As Colonel O'Neill and Captain Carter have to go to Washington, DC for a recommendation ceremony with the President of the United States, Teal'c is more than welcome to accompany Jackson to Abydos.
- As they arrive inside the Abydos Stargate room, Jackson introduces Teal'c to Kasuf, then tries to apology to his father-in-law, telling that he has not find Sha're yet. Kasuf then ask Jackson and Teal'c to come with him outside the Abydos pyramid to the city.
- Outside the city, they come into a tent to find Sha're here. Astonished, they notice that she is pregnant, almost ready to give birth.
