Giza plateau is an area located in Egypt.

This location is the place where the Great Pyramids have been built.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1928, Professor Langford led a team to explore and digg near the Great Pyramids (Stargate).

Stargate (1928/1995)[edit | edit source]
In 1928, Professor Langford leads an archeological digging team on the Giza plateau where they find several artefacts including a coverstone and a big circular artefact.
In 1995, when Doctor Daniel Jackson arrives inside the Cheyenne Mountain Complex after been hired by Catherine Langford, he discovers the coverstone and asks Catherine Langford where did they find this. Langford answers that it was on Giza plateau in 1928.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
- The scene of the excavation of the Stargate was filmed in three days in Arizona. A golden look was achieved by filming near the time of sunset.[1]
