On the archeological site of Giza, Foreman Taylor greets Professor Langford near a big coverstone. With the young Catherine Langford, they reach another digging place. Here, they see a huge artefact being erected by all the workers with ropes. They have no idea of what it is.
A worker says that there is something else buried beneath the artefact. reaching the place with Langford, they are amazed by the fossil appearance.[1]
Notes[edit | edit source]
- According to the age of the character in 1928 (around 40 years old), Taylor is supposed to be dead in present day.
- Langford and Taylor are not speaking English when they talk together. When Langford ask his question, he speaks a badly pronounced Norvegian: "Herregud, vad är det?" (What in God's name is that?). Taylor answers him in Swedish: "Jag önskar jag visste det" (I wish I knew).
