Welcome to Stargate Wiki![edit source]
Greetings, Beanna, and welcome to Stargate Wiki! I hope you enjoy your stay with us and am looking forward to your contributions to the Wiki! Why not begin by telling us a bit about yourself on your own user page?
As you may already know, Stargate Wiki covers all the Stargate series from past to present, in addition to authorized merchandise and separate continuity materials such as comics and tie-in novels. We do not cover fan fiction. We're also not a discussion site!
To get started on the wiki, we suggest that you check out our tutorial, experiment in the sandbox (a test editing area for those learning wiki code), and review some of our basic policies (which have important differences from other SF wikis). For some general questions and answers about the navigation and operation of the Wiki, check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Of course, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you are more than welcome to bring them up at the Admins' noticeboard (which is frequented by the administrators of the Wiki).
Thank you for joining us! Hope to see you soon! -- LIMAFOX76 (talk) 08:20, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
Wikia articles and Canon names[edit source]
Hi Beanna,
First, I would like to thank you for the work you've done on this wiki. Sorry to have deleted some articles, but those articles were simple copy-paste of Stargate Wikia articles. This wiki aims to be the first and most accurate semantic wiki about the Stargate universe and independant from the Wikia Stargate wiki. If I didn't want that, I would have contribute on the Wikia wiki. I have also reverted some edits you made (for example on the Samantha Carter article) because her mother's name is not canon, as it wasn't pronounced nor written in a Stargate episode. This name comes from the Stargate novels that are not considered as canon here. It will be possible to create a "Debra Carter" page here, yet this article should be tagged as a separate continuity. In a canon article, no reference to non-canon articles should be written in the in-universe part. Thank you very much and happy editing. --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 08:20, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
Using sockpuppet[edit source]
Beanna, I suspected a long time ago that you are Vader and I asked Jack Phoenix to use the CheckUser application, and he confirmed that I was right. I let you go and edit as you didn't intend to destroy the wiki. Yet, because of those pictures you uploaded this night, you revealed yourself and I cannot tolerate this behavior. So I have to block you indefinitely, firstly for using this wiki as a repository for you Wikia wiki (out of subject here), and secondly for having used sockpuppet. Sorry. --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 05:36, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
